Featured Artist Project: Samantha Davenport's Tarot Cards

Samantha Davenport currently lives and goes to school in Charleston. When she was younger she dropped out of college and went to a coffee shop everyday to draw. There, she made her own set of tarot cards in which she eliminated the cards from a tarot deck that she was uninterested in and added about 80 more (we counted them and she made about 100). These are a few of my favorites from the set. Hand-colored with marker and gel pen and then laminated. She just got them back this winter from a friend after not having them for 7 years.
